Every Fall, Pease Park Conservancy welcomes hundreds of supporters, civic leaders, influencers, neighbors and friends for an evening celebrating our success at Pease Park. This year we celebrate the Conservancy’s tenth anniversary with a sumptuous tented dinner under the stars right in the midst of the park’s lower 13 acres. Guests will enjoy cocktails, live music, live and silent auctions and an exclusive preview of some of the exciting visual renderings of the plans to reimagine Kingsbury Commons. Join us as we look back on an incredible decade of achievement in preserving and sustaining this unique cultural landscape as we look ahead. We invite you to be a part of the future of Pease Park!
Pease Park is a forested oasis in the heart of central Austin. The park comprises 84 acres along Shoal Creek, linking vibrant Austin neighborhoods with downtown and housing more than 400 species of wildlife. With stunning limestone bluffs, shaded trails and a rich cultural history, it is one of Austin’s crown jewels.
Maintaining this gem takes hard work and generous support from our neighbors and friends. Pease Park Conservancy has worked with the Austin Parks and Recreation Department and Watershed Protection to restore the banks of Shoal Creek, clear countless invasive species and maintain the trail. We’ve planted over 3,000 trees, hosted thousands of volunteer service hours and created the award-winning Pease Park Master Plan.
The Conservancy has officially begun to execute the plan, and construction will begin in 2019. The end result? Sustainable improvements benefiting all park users. Your support helps ensure the Conservancy can implement this plan.
